Messenger PhotoShareA new application that allows users to transfer photos to their contacts for viewing. The main part of the conversation window shows a large preview of one of the photos, with the right hand side column showing smaller previews for the upcoming photos. Both users have control of viewing.
People and favouritesAdd the people you chat with the most to your list of favorites at the top of your contact list. As soon as they're ready to chat, you'll see their profile pictures light up.
Dynamic Display PicturesCreate a short webcam snapshot to use as your display picture or have your display pictures react to your moods.
New look and feelThe header at the top of the contact list has been redesigned. Names are added to icons on the conversation menu bar as the window expands. Messenger buddy icons for each contact are replaced with a coloured tile, or display picture.
