Dynamic profile pics demonstrating winking and smiling

Looking for a new feature that boasts the fun factor? Display pictures are just that!  With Dynamic Display pics you can create a short webcam snapshot to use as your display picture, and then have your display pictures react to your moods! See this in action now with MSN Video's very own Chris Lunn. As you can see there are four options available, and each face represents the following moods: smiling, sadness, looking cool, and winking. To create your display picture:

Tile with moods tab

Open the 'Tools' menu. Select the 'Change display picture' option. You will be presented with the Select a Display Picture screen, select the 'Tile with moods' tab. Handy hint: To activate this feature ensure that your webcam is plugged in first.

Dynamic profile pics demonstrating sadness and looking cool

You will be presented with five frames, each one needs to be filled with a snapshot or a 4 second video.  You can assign an emoticon (mood) to four of the slots. The first will act as your default Messenger profile picture. When you've taken all of your shots hit 'Done' to save changes. Handy hint: Did you know that Windows Live Messenger now accepts animated GIF files as profile pictures?
